The Basic Civility

The basic rules of the land are as follows and if caught you can and will be punished as a personal atonement to the other members on The Dawn of the Ages.

R|oleplaying

1. When you are roleplaying you must have at least 4 lines in your post. Anything less and you will be contacted by me or another moderator to redo your post.

2. All roleplaying posts must be in 3rd perso - - - Anyone roleplaying in 1st person will be given a warning

3. You may swear just don't use a swear every other word. Also keep s*xual scenes to a minimum. Just type skip and skip over it. Not very many people want to read that stuff. Also if you have to have it, put a warning in the title so that we don't accidentally read over it.

4. Make it realistic. You cannot have a dragon or a unicorn as a pet or any other such beasts that you know won't like you in 'regular' life.

5. No godding, power-playing or Mary-Sue's. That just makes the RPG very boring - - - any of these found in this RPG will be given a warning the first time but the second time will be suspended for 2 days.

6. No more than 7 people per roleplay thread. Otherwise it gets too confusing.

7. Please, please, use spell check. It's easier using spell check to correct all your mistakes - - - if you are found to have several spelling errors, then I will give you 2 warnings, if after that you cannot manage to use the spell check I will work out some form of punishment for you.

8. No chat language. Anyone found using chat speak during roleplaying will be given warnings.

9. Any thread that doesn't have a tag (Person's name at the end) is considered open which means anyone can reply to it.

10. You can only tag someone if they want to be. Ask them first! If someone tags you but you don't want to join their thread ask them to take your name off of the title. If they don't then I will.

O|O|C

1. You may use mild chatspeak, 'lol' etc is not allowed. If I can live without a ttyl for an hour, so can you - - - if you are caught saying this I will warn you 2 or 3 times but I mean it when I say, no lol's or anything. They are very annoying.

2. No arguements in any OOC posts. Any disagreements/arguements can be made over PM - - - a day suspension for all the people involved

3. No spamming or saying you love peanut butter - - - a warning will be given

4. Spamming the Cbox is not allowed - - - if you are caught spamming you will be banned from the Cbox for 5 days.

5. No r@cist, s*xist or other vulgar comments - - - You will be automatically banned for it!

6. Please try not to use generalizations. They just p!ss people off.

7. You may post here if you are not accepted yet. This is the only area that you can do that.

G|raphics

1. Siggies must have a width less then 500 otherwise the page will stretch.

2. Avatars must be 100 x 100.

3. Both siggies and avatars have to be of a person not anime.

4. No stealing graphics from members or from the site itself. - - - 3 day suspension and the removal of the banner or avatar.

5. No p0rnograpgy or profanity. - - - 1 days suspension and the removal of your banner or avatar.

O|ther

1. You can only have one character per account. Though I will make some exception for twins.

2. You are restricted to holding only 2 active accounts. I would appreciate it if they are both different genders but I won't come after you if you make two of the same. Please stay active in both of these accounts and do not post as one character in a different account, it gets confusing.
